Check-In and Check-Out Procedures

For your convenience, our check-in time is at 2 p.m., allowing ample time for us to prepare your site or rental accommodation. We kindly request that you check-out by 11 a.m. on your departure day. The primary check-in guest must be at least 18 years of age. For families traveling with children, please note that guests aged 16 years and under are considered children at the time of check-in.

Need a little extra time? We understand! Subject to availability, we offer a two-hour early check-in or a two-hour late check-out for a fee of $30 each. To inquire about these options, please contact our management office in advance of your arrival, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

After-Hours Arrivals

Arriving later than expected? We can assist with after-hours arrival arrangements. Please contact our dedicated Reservation Department at (877) 277-8737 to inform us of your late arrival and to receive instructions for accessing the park and your reserved site or accommodation.

Reservations and Rate Information

To best serve all our guests, especially during peak seasons, we have a few reservation guidelines. A minimum two-night stay is required for weekend reservations, and a three-night minimum is required for holiday periods. However, single-night midweek campsite reservations are often available, offering flexibility for shorter stays.

Please be aware that all prices and site types are subject to availability at the time of booking. The displayed rates are base rates and do not include any applicable service fees or charges for optional incidentals. Our RV sites and rental accommodations are typically designed to comfortably accommodate up to four guests. For parties larger than four, a per-day guest fee will be applied to your reservation rate for each additional guest.

Deposit and Payment Details

When you make a reservation with Holiday Travel Park Virginia Beach, using a credit card for your deposit, guarantee, or payment signifies your agreement to our payment terms. This authorization allows MHC Property Management L.P. to charge any expenses incurred during your stay to the provided credit card or to apply any funds you have on deposit with MHC Property Management L.P. towards outstanding balances.

Payment Schedules:

For Daily and Weekly Stays: A deposit equal to one night’s rack rate will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due prior to your arrival, ensuring a swift check-in process.

For Extended Stays (One Month or Longer): A deposit equal to one month’s stay, up to a maximum of $750, is required when making your reservation. Please see the schedule below for details on when the remaining balance is due based on the length of your extended stay. Note that for any stay of 30 days or longer, a separate monthly electric bill will be incurred.

  • Stays of 1 to 3 Months: The full remaining balance is due on your reservation start date.
  • Stays of 4 to 5 Months: 50% of the remaining balance is due on your reservation start date, and the final 50% is due on the 1st day of the second month of your reservation.
  • Stays of 6 Months or Longer: 50% of the remaining balance is due on your reservation start date, 25% is due on the 1st day of the second month, and the final 25% is due on the 1st day of the third month of your reservation.
  • Annual Reservations:
    • For Park Models/Tied Down campers and new guests, a one-month deposit is required.
    • For RV annual reservations, a one-month deposit is also required.
    • Monthly payment schedules for annual reservations are contingent upon a good credit history and a valid credit card agreement on file.

The preferred method of payment for deposits is via credit or debit card. If making a deposit in person, we also accept cash and checks.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. However, please be aware of our cancellation policies. For bookings involving multiple sites, cancellation penalties apply to each individual site that is cancelled or changed. No refunds are issued for early check-outs.

RV Campsites (Daily and Weekly Reservations): We offer full refunds for cancellations made up to 2 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.

Rental Accommodations (Daily and Weekly Reservations): We offer full refunds for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.

For cancellations received less than the required notice period before arrival for daily and weekly reservations, your deposit will be forfeited, up to the equivalent of one night’s rack rate.

Extended Stays (28 Days or Longer): For long-term reservations, we provide full refunds for cancellations made up to 60 days prior to your arrival date. For cancellations received with less than 60 days’ notice, the deposit amount will be held as a credit on account for a future stay with us.

Pet Policy

We are a pet-friendly park and welcome your furry companions! We allow a maximum of 2 pets per site or rental accommodation. For the safety and comfort of all guests, we do not permit aggressive breeds.

Pet Policy for Rental Accommodations: Pets are welcome in our designated pet-friendly rental units. A pet fee of $10 per pet per night applies in these units (fee may vary at select properties). It’s important to note that service animals are not considered pets. Holiday Travel Park Virginia Beach fully complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and all applicable state and local laws regarding service animals. Guests traveling with a service animal will not be required to provide proof of disability or certification for the service animal, and no pet fee will be charged. However, guests will be responsible for any damages to the rental unit caused by a service animal.
