Growing up, my father, a passionate advocate for game conservation, instilled in our family a deep respect for wildlife. This commitment led us to acquire game farms in both the Timbavati area and former Rhodesia, shaping my childhood in profound ways.
My formative years in Africa and countless holidays spent immersed in the ‘bush’ brought me face-to-face with wildlife encounters that were nothing short of transformative. Even now, the resonant roar of a lion ignites a thrill within me, instantly transporting me back to those cherished childhood moments on the farm. I vividly recall holding my father’s hand, his reassuring words echoing in my ears: “Never be afraid – you won’t be able to think clearly.” This simple yet powerful advice has been a guiding principle throughout my life, empowering me to pursue any challenge with courage and determination.
These early experiences are the foundation of my most treasured memories. Since 1979, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my deep-seated love for Africa with friends and clients alike. Currently based in Charlotte, North Carolina, I frequently journey back to the continent, driven by a desire to curate exceptional travel experiences.
