Austin, Texas, often lauded as a vibrant and progressive city, had been on my travel radar for quite some time. Finally, the perfect opportunity arose: a long weekend trip with seven of my closest girlfriends, scattered across the East and West Coasts, seeking a central meeting point. It’s a city tailor-made for group adventures, boasting a relaxed beer garden atmosphere in many venues, an abundance of affordable live music, and incredibly delicious food – even beyond its renowned BBQ scene, with fantastic vegetarian options galore. The weather in May was simply idyllic, adding to the overall charm of our Austin Travel experience.
Planning our 3-day Austin itinerary was a labor of love, drawing inspiration from various online resources, including insightful Instagram posts and local travel guides. Every stop we made was a hit! We opted for an Airbnb in the Northloop neighborhood, north of Austin’s downtown core, and rented a car for ease of exploration.
