For kama‘āina already familiar with our exceptional service and extensive network of approximately 150 daily Neighbor Island flights, Huaka‘i will further streamline inter-island travel, whether for family visits, business engagements, or leisurely getaways.”
Becoming a Huaka‘i by Hawaiian member is straightforward for Hawai‘i residents. Individuals simply need a HawaiianMiles account linked to a Hawai‘i mailing address and can register online at www.HawaiianAirlines.com/Huakai. Upon enrollment, members unlock a suite of exclusive travel benefits. Initially, HawaiianMiles members will receive their first quarterly Neighbor Island discount code via email on December 18. This code, offering either a 10% discount for general members or a 20% discount for Hawaiian Airlines® World Elite Mastercard ® cardholders, is applicable for travel commencing January 8 and beyond. From March 1 onwards, new discount codes will be distributed on the first day of the month preceding each quarter, ensuring consistent access to reduced fares. These discount codes can be applied to both one-way and round-trip tickets in Coach and First Class, providing flexibility for various travel needs.
One of the most significant exclusive travel benefits for Huaka‘i members is a complimentary checked bag on Neighbor Island flights. This valuable perk extends to sports equipment such as surfboards and golf bags, typically subject to additional fees. This benefit will be available for Neighbor Island flights starting January 8. It’s important to note that guests utilizing their Hawaiian Airlines® World Elite Mastercard® for bookings will continue to enjoy the existing benefit of two free checked bags, offering even greater value.
Beyond Neighbor Island travel, Huaka‘i by Hawaiian membership unlocks further exclusive travel benefits. Members will receive priority notifications regarding fare discounts across Hawaiian Airlines’ extensive domestic and international network. Details regarding these network-wide deals will be announced in January, providing Huaka‘i members with early access to potential savings on a wider range of destinations.
