Navigating the online marketplace for the perfect travel bag can be overwhelming, especially when attractive deals pop up. My experience with Luhxe travel bags, however, has been nothing short of a nightmare, and this review serves as a serious warning to potential buyers. If I could give a zero-star rating, I absolutely would.
Drawn in by a Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotion in November 2024, I placed an order for what I hoped would be convenient travel solutions. The initial red flag was the excruciatingly long wait time. Despite ordering in November, I didn’t receive anything until the end of January 2025 – an unacceptable delay of nearly three months.
When a package finally arrived, it was a cruel joke. Out of the five items I ordered – multiple bags, a shoe container, packing cubes, and an instant download – I received a single, solitary bag. The rest of my order was missing. Ironically, I had even paid an extra $10 for shipping protection and a lifetime warranty, expecting peace of mind. Instead, I received a masterclass in fraudulent business practices.
Upon contacting Luhxe, I was met with further deception. They created a new shipping link in an attempt to appear as if they were addressing the missing items. However, this was a mere illusion. As of March 1st, I still haven’t received anything else. The shipping links they provided were fake, never updating past January 8th. It became painfully clear that this company is operating a complete scam.
Demanding a full refund, I was met with yet another absurd roadblock. Luhxe claimed they couldn’t initiate a refund until a return was made! This is a classic scam tactic designed to prolong the issue and run out the clock on buyer protection periods offered by payment platforms like PayPal. Recognizing this fraudulent behavior, I filed a complaint with PayPal and invoked their buyer’s protection service to try and recover my $168.
The single bag I did receive only added insult to injury. Its quality is shockingly poor, utterly undeserving of any price tag, let alone the amount I paid. The material is cheap, flimsy, and emits an unpleasant odor. I seriously doubt it would survive even a single trip. It certainly doesn’t resemble the product description I saw online.
In conclusion, based on my deeply negative experience, I implore you to DO NOT BUY FROM LUHXE. This company engages in deceptive practices, delivers subpar products, and provides nonexistent customer service. Save your money and your sanity – shop elsewhere for your travel bag needs.
