Unlike some hidden items in Destiny 2, the eight Visions of the Traveler are exclusively found during patrol in the Pale Heart. You won’t encounter them during campaign missions, making dedicated exploration key to finding them all. Once you’ve located a Vision, your task isn’t complete until you place it on one of the podiums located in the old Speaker’s area within the Lost City Tower. This area, south of the Tower on your Pale Heart map, is where you first encountered Cayde-6 in the Destiny 2: The Final Shape campaign. Continue to the far end of this area until you reach a picturesque waterfall. The Vision of the Traveler will be visibly hovering in a serene pool at the base of this waterfall, awaiting collection.

For the next collectible, fast travel to the Landing zone. Upon arrival, immediately turn to your left and follow the natural rock wall. Continue along this wall until you encounter another waterfall cascading down. The Vision of the Traveler is located next to this waterfall, though it may be partially obscured by a bush, so keep a close eye out as you approach.

Travel to the Refraction zone. Locate the circular room where you unlocked the Facet of Justice. Exit this room and move to the opposite side of the cliff in this area. Look directly beneath the room you just exited. You should spot a cave opening with a waterfall flowing out. Carefully jump over to this cave entrance to find the Vision of the Traveler nestled within.

Make your way to the Blooming area and locate the large cave entrance that leads towards the Seclusion. Focus your attention on the tall, gnarled tree situated to the right of this cave entrance. While in the vicinity, consider also grabbing the Facet of Honor Prismatic Fragment, and unlock the Facet of Command within the wall.

Travel to the Impasse and locate the pale gray Darkness structure situated in the northeast corner of the area. Upon reaching this structure, look to the top of a central column. This column is flanked by two taller spires, and on top of it, you’ll clearly see the Vision of the Traveler.

Venture into the Transgression zone and continue forward, passing through several sandstorm sections. Your destination is an area characterized by a bright, white light, interspersed with black pillars and twisted trees. This area is located quite deep within Transgression, as indicated on the map.

As you navigate this area, keep to the left side of the path. Eventually, you’ll spot a distinctive tree with a faint, red light emanating from nearby. The final Vision of the Traveler is cleverly concealed behind this tree, marking the end of your collectible hunt.
Once you have gathered all eight Visions of the Traveler, return to the Lost City and place them on the podiums to reveal a golden chest.
