Vision 1 – The Landing

The first Vision is remarkably accessible. Upon spawning at The Landing’s transmat zone, immediately turn left and proceed towards the area’s edge. Your gaze should be drawn to an elaborate scaffold and seating arrangement to your right. However, direct your attention to the left and downwards, where a small pool of water nestles against the building’s edge. Descend into this pool to claim your first Vision of the Traveler.

For the second Vision, you’ll need to look skyward. This collectible resides among the branches of a dead tree situated on the eastern side of The Blooming. From The Blooming’s transmat zone, orient yourself towards the eastern path leading towards The Seclusion, a key location in understanding the Traveler’s mysteries within the Pale Heart. As you approach the orange crystal marking the exit path, lift your gaze to the skeletal trees above. The Vision is nestled within, requiring a short climb. Utilize the cliff wall’s rocky outcrops to initiate your ascent to this elevated collectible.

Vision number three in The Impasse is deceptively conspicuous. Starting at The Impasse transmat zone, you are already in close proximity to this Vision. It is nestled amongst Pyramid structures arranged in a ring. From your starting position, the Pyramid buildings mentioned in the clue are directly ahead, at the northern end of the area. Focus on the left side of these prominent structures, where a sculpture crowned with a ring stands. Directly in the center of this ring, almost blending with the environment, is the Vision. Its visibility makes it surprisingly easy to overlook.

Vision 4 – The Lost City

To locate the fourth Vision, transmat to the Tower in the Lost City. Proceed downwards towards Micah-10 and exit the Tower through the side door within her room. This will place you in the initial section of the Lost City encountered during the campaign’s opening. Here, navigate across the rooftops, distinguished by color-coding to denote different pathways.

Traverse the red rooftops until you reach their terminus. At the end of the red path, facing east, a small pool with a waterfall will be visible across a gap. Leap across to this pool. Vision 5 – The Refraction

From The Landing transmat zone, venture into The Refraction to seek the fifth Vision. This one demands keen observation, as the clue directs you to a creek along a cliffside path. Navigate towards the crystalline caves and peer over the edge. Below, an opening in the cliff face should become apparent, where the creek’s water emerges. Observing from across the chasm offers a clearer perspective.

Vision 6 – The Seclusion

The Vision in The Seclusion presents a unique challenge, deeply intertwined with the narrative threads of the Pale Heart and the Traveler’s mysteries within. Accessing this Vision necessitates progress in Micah-10’s questline involving lost Ghosts. Specifically, you must advance these quests until the “Searing Light Cyst” icon appears on The Seclusion map. Completing “Alone in the Dark” and subsequent lost Ghost searches will eventually lead you to the “Searing Light” quest, unlocking the path to this Vision.

Once you have access to the Searing Light Cyst in The Seclusion, journey from The Blooming towards Zavala’s Homestead. Upon entering The Seclusion, turn left to locate a waterfall cascading into a creek. Venture behind this waterfall to discover a forcefield secured by Hive runes. This marks the entrance to the Cyst area. To proceed, decipher the rune sequence displayed on the forcefield and shoot the corresponding runes around the cave in that order to deactivate the barrier.

As you descend into the Cyst, a large cavern opens before you, accompanied by a gnarled tree to your side. Instead of entering the main cavern and the combat within, circle around the tree column to your right, effectively turning 180 degrees back towards your entry point. A shadowy opening in the rocks will now be visible, leading to the Vision’s secluded location.

Ascend the frozen mountain in The Divide once more for the seventh Vision. From The Seclusion or The Impasse, proceed into The Divide. Upon reaching the mountain’s open expanse, continue upwards towards the summit. The clue alludes to a satellite dish concealing the Vision. As you approach the mountain’s peak and the structures there, the satellite dish will be visible on the left side of the primary building. Jump onto the structure and behind the satellite dish to uncover the Vision nestled in this location.

Vision 8 – The Transgression

The final Vision resides in the tempestuous region of The Transgression, where visibility is significantly reduced by the ongoing storm. The clue points to a dead tree as its hiding place. Travel to The Transgression from The Impasse transmat zone and continue eastward, venturing deep into the area. You’ll traverse multiple storm-swept sections and the buildings separating them.

Placing the Visions

With all Visions collected, return to the Tower transmat zone in the Lost City. Turn left, and beneath the platform with stairs, locate a doorway leading to an adjacent chamber. Veterans of the original Destiny will recognize this as the Speaker’s chamber from the old Tower. Each Vision has a dedicated pedestal within this room. Placing all eight Visions will materialize a golden chest in the room’s center.

Unlocking this golden chest is also a component of the quest to acquire the new Exotic weapon, Khvostov 7G-0X. For detailed instructions, refer to our comprehensive Khvostov guide.

Beyond the chest, collecting Visions grants a Triumph, Motes of Light, Pale Heart engrams, and reputation gains with Ghost.
