- Operating the cash register, processing sales, handling cash transactions, and guiding customers to over-the-counter product locations when needed.
- Managing phone calls, addressing inquiries that do not require pharmacist attention, including calls to physician offices.
- Processing manual claims for third-party prescription services efficiently and accurately, and performing other assigned clerical tasks.
- Supporting inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, and stocking pharmaceutical shipments, and maintaining awareness of Company asset protection techniques.
- Potentially assisting pharmacists in administering clinical services, including sample collection and coordination of services with healthcare clinics and providers.
- Contributing to positive relationships with the local medical community through outreach and support of community health initiatives.
- Maintaining the pharmacy’s appearance by ensuring it is well-stocked, clean, neat, and orderly.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures and fostering respectful relationships with all coworkers.
- Completing special assignments and other tasks as directed.
